This system positions audio from the left, right, center, and bass channels as if they were coming from physical speakers.
Rear channels support either Dolby Surround or Dolby Atmos, depending on the setup. A new control box, developed with German electronics specialist Almando, handles surround decoding and signal distribution, providing additional connectivity options and integration with larger AV systems. Canvas has also partnered with Danish speaker firm System Audio to create a cohesive sound system using their Silverback active speakers.
