Texans TE Foster Moreau says rookie Marlin Klein's long speed was underrated in NFL Draft

Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz returned for his fourth season with the team, while Foster Moreau was signed to the roster in the offseason and Marlin Klein was drafted in the second round. Klein had limited college experience, playing in only 36 games and starting 12, recording 248 receiving yards and a touchdown in his final season at Michigan.

Despite this, Texans TE Moreau believes that Klein's long speed was underrated in the NFL Draft. He described Klein as having "long speed" that wasn't widely talked about, with Moreau noting that Klein was initially seen as a versatile blocker rather than a dynamic receiver. Moreau highlighted Klein's performance in the first preseason game, where he caught a 31-yard pass, and mentioned that Klein had the most receptions of any player on the Texans during the second preseason game, catching three passes for 31 yards.

Moreau expressed his enjoyment of working with Klein and his belief that Klein's willingness to learn and adapt would help him succeed in the NFL.
