T-Hub partners with Indian Army’s Central Command to accelerate defence startup deployments

T-Hub, a Hyderabad-based startup incubator, has entered into a partnership with the Central Command of the Indian Army to facilitate the development and deployment of defense technologies. Under this collaboration, T-Hub will receive problem statements directly from the Army and identify startups capable of creating solutions for military challenges.

The startups will collaborate with Army stakeholders to develop, validate, and refine their technologies based on operational needs, with the ultimate goal of bringing viable solutions to the deployment stage. A joint oversight committee will oversee the program and facilitate connections between the startups and Army representatives.

This partnership augments T-Hub's existing cooperation with the Western Command of the Indian Army and strengthens its ties with defense forces at the Command level. T-Hub is also one of 28 organizations chosen to participate in the Ministry of Defence's Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX) initiative. T-Hub CEO Kavikrut emphasized that founders require direct engagement with end-users to ensure their technologies meet the demands of real deployment conditions.

This collaboration establishes such a pathway, demonstrating confidence in Indian defense startups' capabilities and Hyderabad's potential to create technologies that address critical military requirements.
