“지드래곤이 남편 살렸어요”…카메라 감독 낙상 막아 화제

On 23rd of last month, a K-pop fan posted a video on Instagram with the caption: "Will 지드래곤 get distracted by the stage manager and fall?" The video showed 지드래곤 performing during a special 20th anniversary concert of the group Big Bang, which took place on March 21-23 at the Goyang Combined Gymnasium. While singing with one hand holding a microphone, 지드래곤 extended his other hand to the stage manager, asking him to move aside to get a better shot.

The stage manager, in turn, made space for 지드래곤, allowing him to continue his performance. Throughout the process, 지드래곤 seamlessly continued singing and dancing. The video, which has garnered over 569,000 views as of the 25th, sparked a wave of comments from fans praising his protective behavior. Some called him a "quick-thinking hero," while others admired his ability to prioritize stage safety.

A fan who identified herself as the stage manager's wife revealed that 지드래곤 saved her husband's life during that specific performance. She explained that the stage was about 2 meters high, and he had to move quickly to capture the shot. If 지드래곤 hadn't been there, he could have fallen off the stage. The fan expressed her gratitude, saying her husband and their children are also huge 빅뱅 fans, and that they owe their husband's safe return to 지드래곤's intervention.

The band 빅뱅 subsequently embarked on a worldwide 33-date tour, performing in 19 cities across North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia.
