State Logistics Operator announces tenders for GRS, fibre-optic FPV kamikaze, deep-strike UAVs – ministry

The Defence Procurement Agency and State Logistics Operator have announced tenders for various robotic systems, including ground-based robotic systems (GRS), fiber-optic kamikaze drones, and deep-strike drones. Deputy Minister of Defense Mstyslav Banik stated that these robotic platforms are crucial on the front lines, with some tasks being impossible to accomplish without them.

The agency plans to procure these systems in classes based on operating range and payload, with each class having four or five lots. A single manufacturer will not be able to receive more than half of the order within a single class.

The State Logistics Operator has issued tenders for FPV drones, which maintain control even in areas with poor radio communication. The procurement process follows a procedure that has been successful previously, with multiple lots in each class and no more than 50% of a lot going to a single bidder. The Ministry of Defense, in collaboration with the State Logistics Operator, has also announced tenders for deep-strike drones.

These UAVs will be capable of autonomous flight missions and come in various classes based on flight range and warhead weight. Similar to the previous tenders, manufacturers will be limited to no more than 50% of a single lot.

Participation in these tenders requires a company to have at least one certified product listed in the relevant class. Security standards and data protection remain a priority throughout the bidding process.
