Saoirse Ronan politely reminds everyone she’d like to play a Bond villain

Saoirse Ronan, the talented Irish actress known for her diverse acting range, has expressed her interest in playing a villain in the next James Bond movie. In an interview with Empire, the "Outrun" star revealed her desire to embrace a darker role, stating, "I want to go dark." Ronan emphasized the appeal of having a young female villain, particularly for inspiring girls and women to channel their anger in a constructive manner.

She explained, "I think it would be really interesting, having a young female villain. Especially for girls and women, to see someone who can just take all that pent-up anger and direct it somewhere."

The idea of a female villain taking on the iconic James Bond character presents an intriguing potential storyline for the franchise. Ronan's vision of a female villain who aims to defeat Bond without succumbing to romantic entanglements could bring a fresh perspective to the series.
