Sandra Bullock says she grieved her partner during his ALS battle, even before he died

Sandra Bullock revealed that she began grieving her partner, Bryan Randall, years before his death in 2023 due to his ALS diagnosis. The couple had started dating in 2015 after meeting at her son Louis' birthday party. Randall, a photographer, was diagnosed with the disease three years prior, although his family kept it private until after his passing.

Bullock, 62, said she felt that she had lost her partner before his death, even though he was still alive. She mentioned that Randall had been ill for half of their relationship, and she had already begun preparing for what lay ahead. Bullock, a very good planner when it comes to illness, said she had been grieving Bryan for four years before he passed.

The actor, who was raising two young children at the time, added that the pandemic made it even harder for her to cope with the situation.
