On August 24, 2026, Spanish singer Rosalía surprised a Mexican fan named Oliver with a generous gift of €1,000 hidden inside a copy of her album LUX. The encounter occurred during the singer's current tour in Mexico. Oliver, who identifies as transgender, had been selling custom-made merchandise of Rosalía's to help fund his university education.
During their meeting, Oliver shared his aspiration to open an inclusive gym where individuals could comfortably pursue their fitness goals. Impressed by his ambition, Rosalía returned to the fan the following day, presenting him with a copy of LUX containing €1,000 in cash, as reported by El País México. She also included a heartfelt handwritten message, wishing Oliver the best of luck in realizing his dreams.
Oliver plans to save the money and intends to name his future gym "Gym Lux" in honor of the renowned singer. Rosalía is currently on a five-show run at Mexico City’s Palacio de los Deportes as part of her "LUX Tour." Her second concert on Monday featured Mon Laferte, who shared her personal experiences of betrayal in relationships before declaring she was done discussing men.
Rosalía has three remaining shows scheduled in Mexico City for August 26th, 28th, and 29th at Palacio de los Deportes.
