Pound At Rs. 378, Canadian Dollar Stays at 200 Despite Another Decline

The Pakistani rupee (PKR) experienced a gain against several currencies on Tuesday, closing in the green for the 226th consecutive day. By the end of the trading day, the PKR stood at 277.52 against the US Dollar (USD), marking a gain of three paisas. This upward trend continued as the rupee was also stable against the UAE Dirham (AED) and gained one paisa against the Saudi Riyal (SAR).

However, the PKR faced a slight decline of 15 paisas against the British Pound (GBP). Despite this, the currency showed resilience by gaining 10 paisas against the Euro (EUR).

The gains were not limited to major currencies; the PKR also saw positive movements against the Australian Dollar (AUD) and Canadian Dollar (CAD). Specifically, the rupee gained 49 paisas against the AUD and 28 paisas against the CAD, both representing significant increases within the week. These fluctuations highlight the PKR's resilience and stability in the foreign exchange market, despite some minor dips against the GBP.
