PHCC concludes summer program with participation of 123 Students

The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) concluded its Summer Care Activity on Wednesday, after hosting 123 students across 6 health centers. This was the program's inaugural offering. The students engaged in an educational and practical experience, combining theoretical knowledge with direct application, providing a broader perspective on the health work environment and various medical specialties.

The program facilitated interaction between the students and health center staff, allowing them to learn about the roles of medical professionals and the diverse fields of healthcare. Participants remarked that the experience was a significant step in their journey, particularly for those contemplating medical specialties. The PHCC, through its School Health Service, advised parents to start preparing their children for the upcoming school year, emphasizing the importance of comprehensive preparation in health, physical, psychological, social, and emotional aspects.

This preparation includes establishing a healthy daily routine and gradually adjusting to school schedules. The PHCC also highlighted the need for early attention to children's health, including vaccinations and checkups, to ensure a smooth transition from summer vacation to the academic year.
