Raja Muda Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, emphasized the importance of understanding and adhering to guidelines set by the Islamic Religious and Malay Customary Council of Perlis (MAIPs) and the Perlis Religious Affairs Department (JAIPs) for mosque and mosque committee officers. The royal prince stated that this is crucial in ensuring that all community matters are conducted proficiently, consistently, and in alignment with religious and state wishes.

Moreover, he highlighted that mosque and mosque committee officers must maintain systematic work culture and perform their duties with full integrity in administrative matters. The royal prince made this statement while officiating the completion of the Multaqa Program for Mosque Staff and Mosque Committee Members 2026 at the 2020 Dewan in Kangar.

This year, the focus of Multaqa was on three key aspects related to the management of Islamic burial grounds, mosque management, and the management of marriages and the role of imams. The royal prince also expressed hope that the Multaqa program would serve as a platform to strengthen the management of mosque and mosque institutions, particularly in ensuring professional, efficient, and integrity-driven management that responds to community needs.

He also considered Multaqa as a formal platform to convey the rules, policies, and goals of the state's religious management continuously to all mosque and mosque committee leaders. The program by JAIPs gathered mosque and mosque committee officers from across Perlis to strengthen the administrative system and management of mosque and mosque institutions, as well as a strategic platform to enhance the role of mosques as not only places of worship but also centers for ummah unity, knowledge, and socio-economic development.

The program also included a special forum titled "Mufti-led Mosque Leadership: Managing Trust, Unifying the Congregation," delivered by the Mufti of the Federal Territory, Ahmad Fauwaz Fadzil. During the same event, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra also happily officiated the investiture of Watikah for the appointment of the State Imam of Perlis to Amnan Wuthaq Azanol.
