Paul Thomas Anderson’s ‘Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall’ Concert Movie Acquired by Janus Films, Criterion

Paul Thomas Anderson has returned to the concert film genre, following his Oscar-winning "One Battle After Another." The filmmaker has just acquired the North American rights to "Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall," a documentary capturing the Geese frontman's solo show at Carnegie Hall in December 2025. Janus Films and Criterion will distribute the film across North America, beginning an exclusive 35mm tour on November 20.

The film will be shot on both 35mm and 16mm film stocks, with prints being made by FotoKem in Los Angeles, under the supervision of the filmmakers. Music producer Ariel Rechtshaid handled the music recording and production for the film and its accompanying live album. The project was co-produced by Benny Safdie, with Sara Murphy, Erica Frauman, and Maggie Ambrose as producers.

"Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall" is based on the debut solo album by Geese's frontman, Cameron Winter, who released "Heavy Metal" in December 2024. Geese's latest album, "Getting Killed," dropped in September 2025. Ticket sales for the concert film will open on September 17 at www.CameronWinter.film. The tour will kick off on November 20 in New York City, with additional stops across the United States until January 18.
