Pack your bags, Melaye tells Tinubu ahead of 2027 polls

Dino Melaye, a member of the African Democratic Congress, has urged President Bola Tinubu and his family to prepare to leave the Presidential Villa ahead of the 2027 general elections. Melaye anticipates that the ADC will defeat the ruling All Progressives Congress in the polls, citing the Nigerian people's dissatisfaction with the Tinubu administration.

He claims the government has failed to address issues such as hunger, insecurity, and corruption. Melaye expressed confidence in the ADC's chances, stating that Nigerians were ready for a change of government due to their growing frustration with maladministration, lies, and unfulfilled promises. He accused the Tinubu administration of brazenness, wickedness, and nonchalance, and criticized the President for suggesting that election rigging, violence, and ballot snatching are acceptable in politics.

Melaye, a former PDP member, foresees a change of government in January, urging Tinubu and his family to begin packing their belongings from the Presidential Villa.
