The Ministry's written reply to the Senate revealed that the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) led the installation with 1,153,556 meters, followed by Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO) with 348,135 meters.

Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) installed 229,719 smart meters, while Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) placed 119,372 units.
