Jean Silva will face rising contender Jose Delgado at UFC Fight Night 288. Silva, who was originally set to fight former interim featherweight champion Yair Rodriguez, took on Delgado after Rodriguez had to withdraw due to an injury. Silva, with a record of 17-3 MMA and 6-1 UFC, bounced back from his first loss to two-time title challenger Diego Lopes with a unanimous decision win over Arnold Allen at UFC 324.

Delgado, a Contender Series graduate, has won nine of his past 10 fights, but lost his winning streak to Nathaniel Wood. Wood, however, rebounded with two wins over Andre Fili and Austin Bashi. According to Caesars, Silva is a -450 favorite to defeat Delgado, who is an underdog at +350 odds. The bout will take place at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, and will be broadcast on Paramount+ on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
