In a July interview with James Corden on Fox Sports, Haaland revealed that he had kept his previous hairstyle at the advice of retired Sweden star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a renowned long-haired Scandinavian striker. Ibrahimovic had told Haaland: "Never cut your hair because the strength is in the hair."
