Muere Socorro Fernández Larrea, consejera independiente de OHLA

Socorro Fernández Larrea, a self-employed independent councilor of OHLA, has passed away. The group OHLA announced her death on Tuesday. Fernández Larrea had a career in sectors such as construction, telecommunications, energy, and services at both national and international levels. She was a member of OHLA since 2014 and served as the President of the Commission of Nominations until May 2025.

Fernández Larrea was appointed as an independent councilor by the OHLA board of directors in May 2025. She holds an Engineering degree in Highways, Canals, and Docks from the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) and received the "Outstanding Engineer" award in 2021. Prior to joining OHLA, she held positions such as councilor of Amper, General Director at Copisa, member of the Board of Directors of the Board of Government of the Engineering College, Regional Director of SEOP, and delegate of Ferrovial, among other roles.

The President of OHLA and the rest of the board members expressed their condolences and praised her commitment, dedication, and valuable contribution to the company, as well as her professionalism during her time on the board. OHLA requested that its deepest sympathy be conveyed to her family, friends, and loved ones in a statement.

According to a statement sent by OHLA to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), the Commission of Nominations and Remuneration will convene soon to analyze the composition of the commissions and the board, in order to propose to the latter the appropriate agreements to be adopted during its first ordinary meeting.
