MNT Station - A modular, open hardware desktop computer and server

The MNT Station is an innovative, modular, and open hardware desktop computer and server designed to be both space-saving and future-proof. This device can be used as a standalone desktop PC, silent home NAS, or low-power entertainment center.

MNT Station is highly versatile, allowing users to upgrade their MNT Reform laptop and reuse the previous mainboard with MNT Station. It supports various processors, including NXP, Amlogic, Qualcomm, Broadcom (Raspberry Pi), and AMD/Xilinx FPGA, making it a great choice for homelabs and tinkering with Docker containers, Tailnets, and Home Assistant.

The device features mounting holes on the back for standard VESA as well as keyhole slots, allowing for easy installation on the wall, behind a cabinet, or on the back of a monitor. Its external antenna ensures strong radio reception for Wi-Fi or SDRs, regardless of the MNT Station's placement.

MNT Station also boasts battery backup, running for hours off of 8 LiFEPO4 cells, giving users ample time to shut down in case of a power outage. When used as a streaming box or retro game console, its low-power design eliminates the need for ventilation.

The enclosure for MNT Station is made from CNC milled, bead blasted aluminum, available in black or petrol blue. The package includes case parts, two electronic port covers with cables (JST PH 4-pin; JST PH 4-pin), a non-electronic port cover, and M2x5 mounting screws. Note that a power adapter is not included, but any 65-100W USB Type-C PD adapter will work.
