Commercial cyclist Nura Yusuf, originally from Bagwa Local Government Area of Kano State, was discovered dead inside an unfinished building near Gas Pipeline area in Unguwar Sabo-Tasha, along the Abaji-Gwagwalada Road in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Yusuf, who had been missing for several weeks, allegedly picked up passengers heading towards the Gas Pipeline area before meeting his untimely end, reportedly because of strangulation.

His body was found on Saturday by some farmers who noticed a foul smell emanating from the building. The decomposed remains were discovered after a while, leading to the conclusion that the cyclist had been dead for a significant period before his body was found. Upon learning of Yusuf's disappearance, the police were immediately notified and dispatched to the location.

His body was subsequently buried in situ once the police arrived at the scene. Yusuf left behind a pregnant wife, and his phone had gone unanswered since the day he was declared missing until his body was found on Saturday. A police source at the Abaji Division confirmed the discovery of the decomposed body, adding that it had already decomposed by the time the police arrived.
