Meta Platforms is set to unveil its consumer AI agent platform, referred to as Hatch, in the near future, according to The Information. The platform is essentially the consumer-facing variant of Meta's OpenClaw AI agent. This news comes from internal documents cited by The Information. In addition to Hatch, Meta is also preparing to launch its latest AI model, dubbed Watermelon, by October, The Information further reported.

Hatch is part of Meta's broader strategy to monetize its AI investments and lessen its dependence on ad revenue. The company has reportedly considered a tiered pricing model for the service, with premium subscribers potentially paying up to $199.99 per month for increased usage allowances. This pricing strategy has been previously explored by Meta.
