Medical shop owner hacked to death with machetes on busy Bengaluru road

A medical shop owner, Suhail, was brutally murdered in public on a busy road in Bengaluru, police suspect the act was revenge for a previous murder that took place earlier this year. The six men involved in the heinous crime were arrested on Monday following a thorough investigation by the Bengaluru police. The victims were Suhail and his friend, who were traveling on a two-wheeler at around 9.45 pm on Madiwala main road when the gang attacked them with machetes.

The gang had been following the couple when their friend stopped the vehicle due to a traffic jam. The suspects, Adil, Arbaz, Shaan, Yasin, Rafiullah, and Syed Farhan, dropped the weapons and fled the scene. It is believed that the gang planned to escape to Mumbai by truck, with a stop in Bidadi before heading to the Indian city.

Suhail was not directly involved in a murder that occurred on 12 January, but his brothers were allegedly linked to the crime and were subsequently arrested. The police suspect the murders were linked to gang rivalry over control of the Bandepalya area and have charged the six men with murder, continuing their investigation to uncover the full story.
