Mandera receives new equipment to improve maternal, newborn care

The Rural Agency for Community Development and Assistance (RACIDA) has presented a donation of maternal and newborn health equipment to the County Government of Mandera. This assistance aims to enhance service delivery and elevate the standard of care provided to mothers and newborns. The equipment donated to Mandera County Referral Hospital encompasses electric obstetric delivery beds, baby bassinets, specialized digital weighing scales, and baby measuring rods.

These resources will aid health facilities in enhancing the safety and quality of maternal and newborn care.

RACIDA Mandera Coordinator Abdi Dagane addressed the handover, stating that the donation showcased the organization's dedication to supporting public health services in the county. This event is part of RACIDA's health and nutrition initiatives in Mandera, executed in collaboration with the County Government and development partners.
