ISCA and GDUFS Strengthen Singapore–Guangdong Talent Links

The Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) have formed a partnership to enhance collaboration in accountancy education and talent development. This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed in Singapore, coinciding with the 16th Singapore-Guangdong Collaboration Council meeting, highlighting the growing ties between the two regions in education and professional services.

Through this collaboration, GDUFS' Accounting, Auditing and Financial Management programmes will seek accreditation under the Singapore Chartered Accountant Qualification (SCAQ) programme. Upon obtaining this qualification, graduates will be eligible for reduced fees for five SCAQ Foundation Programme modules, facilitating their journey toward the Chartered Accountant of Singapore (CA) designation.

The partnership will also grant GDUFS students access to ISCA's professional networks, events, and resources, including internship and job-matching opportunities, and scholarships. This initiative showcases the shared dedication of ISCA and GDUFS in cultivating the next generation of accountancy professionals who possess both the necessary skills and international exposure to thrive in today's interconnected global business landscape.
