India AI Data Center Firm Orders 9,000 Nvidia Vera Rubin Systems

Indian AI infrastructure firm AM Intelligence has placed a substantial order for 9,000 Nvidia Vera Rubin systems, aiming to be one of the early adopters in Asia. The Hyderabad-based company intends to use the advanced computing platform for developing homegrown AI models. AM Intelligence, part of the Greenko Group, which also owns a renewable energy producer, aims to set up 1-gigawatt of computing capacity under its $8-billion plan.

The firm's facility in Hyderabad will run trillion-parameter AI models and next-generation agentic AI applications. With access to low-cost renewable power, AM Intelligence boasts competitive pricing for customers in India, the US, Finland, and Malaysia. As demand for high-end Nvidia compute clusters remains tight, AM Intelligence is positioning itself to meet the needs of major cloud-service providers, AI labs, and organizations developing Indian AI models.
