‘I will share evidence of violence I suffered’: Himanshi Khurrana warns Asim Riaz amid conversion row

The relationship between Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurrana, which began on the reality TV show Bigg Boss in 2019, has recently become increasingly contentious. After their breakup, which Himanshi cited as due to religious differences, she vowed to share evidence of any incidents during their relationship that she felt were crucial to understand their split.

Himanshi took to X, a social media platform, to defend her actions and beliefs. She stated that she always respected privacy and honesty while discussing her personal life, which included her experiences on Bigg Boss, spiritual journey, and health issues. However, she accused Asim of falsely alleging that she was pressured into converting her religion. She also criticized his comments about her weight.

In response to what she deemed as harassment and disrespect from Asim, Himanshi threatened to reveal evidence of the conversion allegations and her own personal struggles. This included CCTV footage from early November 2023 and potential recordings. She warned that if Asim continued to tarnish her reputation, she would no longer defend his actions.

Himanshi reiterated her expectation for mutual respect and honesty, expressing her disappointment at his refusal to reciprocate. She questioned why people were so upset with her for sharing her own story, when others were free to do the same.

The conflict between Asim and Himanshi escalated after she appeared on a podcast discussing their relationship and her spiritual journey. On the podcast, she mentioned that Asim always encouraged her to accept his religion, but she felt it was her personal choice not to do so. She also revealed that her decision to undertake the Char Dham Yatra, a series of Hindu pilgrimages, was a farewell to her past life.

Asim, in reaction to the podcast, accused Himanshi of falsely accusing him of forcing her to convert. He also criticized her for gaining weight and indirectly blamed a podcast host for her relationship issues.
