The real-life Wayne Manor from Batman Begins, Mentmore Towers in Buckinghamshire, could face compulsory purchase if its owners fail to repair the deteriorating Grade I-listed mansion. According to SWNS, authorities have ordered urgent restoration work and three bat surveys by August 2027. The historic property has suffered damaged roofs, cracks, broken windows and neglect.
