Gwalior man fined for over 3,400 kiss marks on car: Under what law was he penalised?

A Gwalior man named Aditya Sikarwar learned the hard way that certain romantic gestures can have legal consequences when his girlfriend covered his car with over 3,400 lipstick marks. The unusual decoration went viral online after a video of the vehicle driving through the City Centre area was shared on social media. The video caused a stir and the car's owner was subsequently fined ₹5,500 for modifying the vehicle, according to Traffic Police Inspector Abhishek Raghuvanshi.

The driver, who wasn't aware that the act was illegal, cleaned the car and paid the fine after realizing his mistake.
