Google Cloud Debuts Specialized AI Agents for Financial Services and Legal Industries

Google Cloud has launched the first two offerings in a series of industry-specific agentic artificial intelligence solutions built on the Gemini Enterprise platform. The initial solutions target the financial services and legal industries. Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services is now available for preview in the capital markets and corporate banking sectors.

It includes a Google-managed Financial Research agent, over 50 new skills with specialized instructions for financial roles, enterprise data connectors, and a third-party agent ecosystem. The Financial Research agent can provide AI-generated insights for relationship managers and advisors, streamline onboarding and KYC processes, conduct complex bond portfolio risk analysis, identify credit market opportunities, and reduce client pitch presentation times.

Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian emphasized that the solution connects to existing IT systems of financial professionals, is highly secure, and compliant. Meanwhile, Gemini Enterprise for Legal, initially available for the legal industry, is designed to automate legal workflows across various practice areas. The solution includes specialized skills for lawyers, connectors to specialized legal systems, and an expanding partner ecosystem of third-party agents.

Gemini Enterprise for Legal automates tasks such as staying ahead of global mandates, compiling personal data, accelerating contract review and negotiation, building contracting playbooks, preparing court filings, and drafting non-disclosure agreements. Kurian highlighted that the solution manages modern legal complexities while providing governance capabilities for confident strategic counsel focus.

Google introduced Gemini Enterprise in October 2025, positioning it as an AI-powered conversational platform that unifies a company's data, tools, and people. Employees can interact with company documents, data, and applications through chat, and developers can build and deploy agents using a unified system that includes agent building, deployment, data integration, security, and optimization.

In April, Google announced the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, bundling agent creation, deployment, data integration, security, and optimization into one offering. According to a July earnings call, nearly 90% of Fortune 100 companies now use Gemini Enterprise.
