Ex-Pussy Riot activist Rita Flores says Russia’s FSB forced her to inform on performance artist Pavel Krisevich. He found out from her interview and wrote to tell her she’s forgiven.

Former Pussy Riot member Rita Flores, also known as Margarita Konovalova, claimed on August 24 that the FSB recruited her in early 2023. Security officials threatened to kill her family, forcing her to cooperate and gather information on contemporary artists and political activists, including two other Pussy Riot members, Philippenzo and Pavel Krisevich.

Flores allegedly informed on Krisevich and his wife, Elena, and played a part in his departure from Russia in late 2025. She was able to leave Russia herself in mid-August 2026. Krisevich was surprised to learn of Flores' ties to the FSB after their conversation, but she had not mentioned this during their last interaction. He did not notice any unusual behavior from Flores after his release in 2025, except for a few unusual requests, which he found suspicious.
