Eid-el-Maulud: Reflect on Prophet Muhammad’s teachings, Diri urges Muslims

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has called upon Muslim faithful to reflect on Prophet Muhammad's teachings during the celebration of his birth, Eid-el-Maulud. In his Eid-el-Maulud greetings to Muslims in the state and throughout the country, the governor emphasized the ideals of unity, compassion, and peace that the feast represents.

Diri pointed out that the occasion is a celebration of love and sacrifice, urging Muslims to practice love, be their brothers' keepers, and promote peaceful coexistence. He reminded Muslims that this is a time to demonstrate practical love, patriotism, and peaceful coexistence. Diri wished his Muslim brothers in the state and across Nigeria a prosperous and joyful celebration, wishing them "Barka da Sallah!"
