Dates of lucky draws for 7,340 affordable flats in 18 Hyderabad (CURE) locations announced

Telangana Housing and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy announced the dates for location-specific lucky draws to select beneficiaries of the government's Indiramma Houses in Hyderabad (CURE) region. The draws, which will take place from August 28 to 31, will be held in four locations each day. Live streaming of the draws will be available on YouTube and other platforms.

The Minister briefed on the number of eligible people, rejected applications, tenders for towers, and other aspects after a review meeting. The lucky draws will be conducted location-wise, with Kowkur, Patigadda, Jalpalli, and Kulsumpura hosting draws on August 28; Jubilee Hills MLA Colony, Boinpally, Bandlaguda (LIG Colony), and Nandi Musaliguda on August 29; Gajularamaram, Police Lines in Amberpet, Gaddianaram, R&B Quarters, and Pocharam (LIG Colony) on August 30; and Raidurg, KPHB Colony, Mailardevpally, and Redhills on August 31.

Applicants who do not win the draw will receive their ₹10,000 Earnest Money Deposit back and have it deposited into their accounts immediately after the final list of beneficiaries is declared. The government invited applications for 7,340 affordable flats in the Indiramma Housing towers across 18 locations in 16 Assembly constituencies within Outer Ring Road (ORR).

After a thorough verification process, 40,900 applications were deemed eligible, while 19,820 were found ineligible. Beneficiaries will have to contribute ₹6 lakh in installments, and the government will provide a subsidy of ₹5 lakh per flat. Applications were accepted until August 15, 2026, with additional flats available in four more Assembly constituencies until September 3, 2026.
