Children being treated worse than animals: CJP writes to state governments, seeks data on school infrastructure

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has written to all state governments, urging them to provide data on school infrastructure, teacher vacancies, and funding over the past five years. CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke expressed concern that many children still lack basic facilities in government schools, such as safe drinking water, functional toilets, proper classrooms, and even benches.

He stated that children in India are being treated worse than animals due to the poor conditions in which they study. The party has been highlighting the plight of government schools on social media and demanding greater public spending on education. In its letters to state governments, CJP has sought details on the number of government schools renovated in the last five years, those requiring repairs or complete renovation, the number of sanctioned, filled, and vacant teaching posts, and the allocation of funds to government schools.

The party also requested information on the need for additional government schools to ensure reasonable access to quality education and data on non-teaching duties assigned to school teachers. The party emphasized that this issue is not political but a matter of providing every child, regardless of their background, with a safe classroom, clean drinking water, a functional washroom, a bench, and a teacher.
