APC ready to win across Lagos in 2027 – Sanwo-Olu declares

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has voiced his confidence in the All Progressives Congress, APC, ahead of the 2027 general elections. During a visit to the party's presidential and governorship campaign offices, Sanwo-Olu unveiled the party's preparations for securing victory across the state. The governor's statement, shared on his X handle, revealed that the campaign committee had already begun strategic planning for the upcoming elections.

Sanwo-Olu emphasized that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, as well as the party's gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, and other candidates in Lagos, were committed to the campaign. "The campaign committee is fully in its element, mapping out the road ahead and sharpening our strategy," Sanwo-Olu stated. He further highlighted the significant work being carried out behind the scenes to position the party for the elections.

The governor's confidence in APC stemmed from the strong commitment demonstrated by party members. Sanwo-Olu expressed his encouragement towards the energy and sense of purpose among the party members. He declared that the APC was "focused, aligned and ready to win across the board," and pledged that the party would continue to pursue its development agenda in Lagos. "Together, we will keep building on Lagos's momentum and pushing our state forward," Sanwo-Olu concluded.
