Andhra Pradesh announces special TET for in-service teachers; registrations open

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced the Special Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for in-service teachers appointed prior to 2011. The new test is open to teachers working in government and local body schools, residential schools, model schools, private aided schools, and other government department schools across the state.

Candidates can register on the official portal, sptet.apcfss.in, starting from August 25. The application fee is set at Rs 1,000, with the last date for registration being September 24. The Special TET 2026 will take place between October 11 and October 21 in two daily sessions, with Paper I for classes I to V and Paper II for classes VI to VIII.

The exam will be available for application until September 24, after which the application fee must be paid by the same deadline. The first step for eligible teachers is to register on the designated portal before the registration deadline.
