‘Ali G: Who Iz I?’ Trailer: Sacha Baron Cohen Returns as the London Bad Boy in New Amazon MGM Mockumentary

Ali G has returned to the big screen, as Sacha Baron Cohen reprises his iconic character for a new film set to hit theaters in October. Titled "Ali G: Who Iz I?," the mockumentary sees the controversial character back in action, employing the same approach that made his previous hits like "Borat" and "Bruno" so successful.

This time around, Cohen puts Ali G up against unsuspecting non-actors, all while maintaining the character's street-smart, "rude boy" persona. The trailer hints at the film tackling modern-day issues like TikTok and influencer culture, with Cohen roping in unknowing participants for his "documentary."

The feature film directorial debut for Cohen follows his work on the HBO docuseries "Who Is America?" and marks his first return to the mockumentary format since 2020's "Borat Subsequent Moviefilm." Shot in secret, "Ali G: Who Iz I?" is set to release only in theaters on October 23 through Amazon MGM Studios.
