President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed strategies to enhance Ukraine's resilience during the autumn and winter in a Facebook post shared by Ukrinform. The conversation also encompassed the outcomes of the Coalition of the Willing meeting. Zelensky provided Luc Frieden, Luxembourg's Prime Minister, with a comprehensive overview of the pressing issues, such as funding for the armed forces and the budget deficit.

The President underscored the significance of Luxembourg's willingness to aid in finding resolutions, both on an individual and collective basis within the European Union. Zelensky expressed his gratitude for Luxembourg's preparedness to assist in the reconstruction of university dormitories, emphasizing that it is crucial for the youth and the future of the nation.

The Prime Minister's visit to Ukraine on Independence Day was hailed as a "strong and much-needed signal of support for our people, for everyone who defends this independence every day." On August 24, Ukraine celebrated its 35th Independence Day, with a ceremony held at Sofia Square in Kyiv, attended by President Zelensky, his First Lady, and notable foreign guests.

The Coalition of the Willing Summit also took place in Kyiv on the same day. Following the meeting, Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden stated that supporting Ukraine represents a contribution to the security of all European nations.
