Woman found dead with hands bound in Sandakan home

In Sandakan, Sabah, a 62-year-old woman was discovered dead with her hands bound inside her home on Wednesday evening. Sandakan police chief George Abd Rahman revealed that the police found the woman's body while inspecting her residence at Tanah Merah around 8:45pm following a report of an unpleasant odor emanating from the two-story wooden building.

The woman's corpse was located in the bathroom, her hands tied and her head wrapped with a cloth, suggesting she had likely passed away several days prior due to the extent of decomposition. According to George, two individuals were identified as suspects following the arrest of ten people within 24 hours. He further explained that the incident appeared to be the result of a misunderstanding regarding renovation fees and the suspects' dissatisfaction with the victim, who had increased the rental for the house's tenants.
