Vincent Kompany reveals Ismael Saibari’s nickname at Bayern Munich

Vincent Kompany, head coach of Bayern Munich, revealed during a press conference that one of the club's new summer signings, Ismael Saibari, is affectionately known by his teammates and coaches as "Isi." Kompany explained, "We always call him Isi. And Isi simply has such power, such speed, and is a good finisher."

Saibari made his competitive debut for Bayern Munich in the 81st minute of the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup match against Borussia Dortmund. He had one shot on goal from outside the box during the game. The Swiss defender also participated in the two friendlies that followed, contributing an assist in the Telekom Cup against RB Leipzig, which led to Musiala's goal.

Saibari joined Bayern Munich's preseason camp later than other players, having reached the quarterfinals of the World Cup that same summer.
