Texas police reveal no criminal findings and close case into death of Bills’ DT Ed Oliver’s son

Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Ed Oliver’s 1-year-old son’s death has led to no criminal findings, according to a police investigation in Texas. The case is now closed after the toddler, who was just days away from his second birthday, was found unresponsive in a swimming pool at a home in a neighborhood community north of Houston.

The boy was taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead. Police have stated that their investigation found no criminal wrongdoing and that the case has been closed. Ed Oliver, who has requested privacy and prayers during his mourning, was expressed in condolences by the team's General Manager, Brandon Beane. The Bills quarterback, Josh Allen, emphasized the need for support during this difficult time, stating that there is nothing that can make the situation better except being there for Oliver.
