Seahawks' 2nd-team offense dominates preseason game vs. Titans

In Week 2 of the NFL preseason, the Seattle Seahawks faced the Tennessee Titans, but the final 19-16 score does not fully capture the performance of the Seahawks' offense. The game showcased an impressive display by the second-team offense against the Titans' first-string defense. Seattle's offense proved dominant throughout the contest, beginning with an eight-play, 74-yard drive that concluded with a 36-yard touchdown pass from Drew Lock to Elijah Arroyo.

This scored was made possible by a busted Titan's coverage, allowing Arroyo to get behind safety Kevin Winston Jr. and cornerback Alontae Taylor.

Seahawks continued their strong performance with another explosive score just on their fourth possession. Backup running back Jacardia Wright capitalized on excellent blocking up front, sprinting away from the Titans' starting defense for a 69-yard touchdown run. Titans' defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons was among those lost in the melee, unable to contain Seahawks' offensive momentum.

Drew Lock, the Seahawks backup quarterback, proved to be efficient and productive in this game. He completed 12-of-14 passing attempts for 103 yards, including the aforementioned touchdown to Arroyo and zero interceptions. Notably, Lock did not get sacked during the game, presenting a very promising sign for the defending Super Bowl champions. Despite losing the game in the second half, the Seahawks' offense demonstrated enough depth to dominate the defensive starters of a rebuilding NFL team.
