Russian strike injures at least 20 in Chernihiv – official

A Russian strike on Chernihiv has reportedly injured at least 20 people, according to Viacheslav Chaus, the regional military administration head. Among the injured are two children, aged 12 and 17. A 17-year-old girl and an elderly woman have been hospitalized, with the woman's condition being described as serious. Out of the 20 injured, 18 received medical assistance and are being treated on an outpatient basis, while the remaining two are hospitalized.

Chaus reported that rescuers had extinguished the fire caused by the drone strike on an apartment building, which was also damaged. Preliminary information suggests that the Russians used a Geran-5 drone for the attack. Chaus condemned the incident, stating it was a cynical act by the Russians, launching a drone directly into the center of Chernihiv at people. Previously, 17 people were reported injured in the strike.
