Report: Nottingham Forest favourites to sign Barcelona star

Nottingham Forest are leading the race to sign Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado, with the 22-year-old reportedly considering a move to improve his chances of regular first-team football. The report suggests Forest are showing strong interest and have already contacted other clubs about his availability, including Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Brighton and Sunderland.

While Manchester United are no longer in the running after pursuing Carlos Baleba, Benfica and clubs in Turkey and Saudi Arabia have also shown interest, but Casado seems unlikely to be attracted by a move to the Middle East.
