Redmi Headphones Neo Launch in Pakistan With 72-Hour Battery

Xiaomi recently introduced the Redmi Headphones Neo in Pakistan, joining its growing collection of local audio products. These new over-ear wireless headphones are available on Xiaomi's official online store in Pakistan for a price of Rs. 18,999. Key features include adaptive active noise cancellation, large 40mm drivers, wired Hi-Res Audio, and a substantial 72-hour battery life.

The Redmi Headphones Neo make use of 40mm titanium-plated dynamic drivers, which Xiaomi claims deliver deep bass while preserving clear treble. They offer up to 42dB adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), with manual selection of three noise-cancellation levels or Adaptive ANC that adjusts automatically based on the environment.

For calls, the headphones include three microphones with AI-powered noise reduction and can handle wind noise reduction during calls in wind speeds up to 5m/s. Users can select from Balanced, Enhance Bass, Enhance Treble, and Enhance Voice EQ presets, or customize their own sound profile using the Xiaomi Earbuds app. The headphones are also capable of Hi-Res Audio playback over a wired USB-C connection, with a frequency response ranging from 20Hz to 40kHz in USB Audio mode.

However, this Hi-Res certification only applies to wired playback. The headphones weigh around 263 grams and measure 202 × 183 × 47mm. They are available in Obsidian Black, White, and Mist Blue. Xiaomi's protein-leather ear cushions and adjustable headband ensure a comfortable fit for different head sizes. Connectivity relies on Bluetooth 5.4, with a theoretical range of up to 10 meters.

The headphones support dual-device pairing and Google Fast Pair, while compatible HyperOS devices can utilize Audio Sharing to link two pairs of headphones to a single device. The Redmi Headphones Neo are powered by a 600mAh battery, capable of providing up to 72 hours of music playback on a full charge when ANC is turned off. Fast charging can deliver up to five hours of playback from a mere 10-minute charge. Charging is facilitated through USB-C. The headphones carry a three-month warranty.
