Playable Control Resonant and a Dune: Awakening Update Highlight Level Infinite’s Massive gamescom 2026 Plans

Level Infinite, a division of Tencent, is set to make a big impact at gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany. The publisher will showcase four major titles – Control Resonant, Hunt: Showdown 1896, Dune: Awakening, and more – along with numerous partner studios and exclusive announcements.

One of the most exciting announcements is the reveal of Hunt: Showdown 1896, an extraction shooter developed by Crytek. During the event, players will have the opportunity to play the game alongside developers and provide real-time feedback on the game's rebalancing process. Additionally, the first hour of Control Resonant will be playable at Level Infinite's booth, offering attendees a hands-on experience with the eagerly-anticipated game.

Fans of Dune: Awakening will also be able to experience the console version of the game for the first time at gamescom. The September 22 release features a new solo mode, which was optimized based on data gathered from the PC version. This new content, combined with the highly-anticipated Dune film release, aims to reinforce the immersive experience offered by the game.

Level Infinite's booth will also feature cosplay opportunities, giveaways, exclusive merchandise, and photo opportunities. Visitors entering Hall 6 will be immediately greeted with Level Infinite's presence, showcasing the four playable games and giving them the chance to engage with each experience.
