Plan to allow private sector role in nuclear SMR projects
Thailand may allow private investors to develop and operate small modular reactors (SMRs) under the country's upcoming Power Development Plan (PDP), in a bid to replace ageing fossil-fuel small power producers (SPPs), according to an energy official who asked not to be named.
