Pakistan Names 20 Fast Bowlers and Spinners for Special Training Camps

The Pakistan Cricket Board has selected 20 bowlers, consisting of 12 fast bowlers and eight spinners, for specialized training camps at the National Cricket Academy. Seven of the fast bowlers and one spinner are uncapped, while the remaining players possess prior international experience. The fast bowlers will undergo a five-day intensive training session from August 24 to 28, while the spinners will participate in a two-day program from August 31 to September 4.

During these camps, the players will work closely with NCA coaches and members of the Pakistan men's white-ball team to enhance their technical and tactical abilities. Their recent performances in competitive cricket will also be evaluated as part of the development process. The uncapped fast bowlers hail from various regions, including Peshawar, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot, and Bahawalpur, while the capped fast bowlers represent Lahore, FATA, Hyderabad, and Faisalabad regions.

The eight spinners come from Rawalpindi, Multan, Multan, Karachi, and Rawalpindi regions. Qayyum Khan, the only uncapped player to have not played any competitive cricket, will make his debut in the five-day camp.
