‘Obsession’ Star Inde Navarrette, ‘Odyssey’s’ John Leguizamo, Cannes Hit ‘La Bola Negra’ Among Honorees For 6th Annual Critics Choice Celebración Of Cinema & TV

The 6th annual Celebración of Cinema & Television, taking place on October 2 in Beverly Hills, honored several notable individuals in the Latino and Hispanic entertainment industry. John Leguizamo, Oscar Nuñez, and TK received awards for their outstanding contributions to film, television, comedy, and theater. Leguizamo will be recognized with the Career Achievement Award for his over four decades of groundbreaking work, appearing in Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" and other projects.

Emmy award-winner and Tony nominee Judy Reyes received the Trailblazer Award for her exceptional body of work across film, television, and theater, currently starring in ABC's "High Potential" and ABC/Hulu's "Scrubs." Oscar Nuñez accepts the Vanguard Award for his breakout role as Oscar Martinez in NBC's "The Office" and Peacock's "The Paper."

The Critics Choice Association praised the honorees, acknowledging their ability to create art that moves culture forward. The event will be hosted by Clayton Davis and Amanda Salas, both CCA members, with other honorees including Rodrigo Teixeira, Javier Calvo & Javier Ambrossi, James Ortiz, Aimee Carrero, Beth de Araújo, Inde Navarrette, and Laysla De Oliveira.
