NSA gives students final chance to resolve biodata mismatch issues

The National Service Authority (NSA) has granted a final chance for students experiencing biodata mismatch issues to rectify their registration details and finalize their National Service paperwork. In a press release issued on August 24, 2026, the NSA emphasized that affected students must visit its headquarters before the deadline of Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

To aid in this process, the NSA is working alongside the National Identification Authority (NIA), Ghana Publishing Company, and Commissioners for Oaths. Affected students who have not yet acquired the necessary affidavit will receive support from the Commissioners for Oaths to draft and swear any required documents to rectify their biodata. Additionally, students needing Gazette publication will be guided through the process by the Ghana Publishing Company.

The NSA urged students who already possess their affidavits and/or Gazette publications but have not yet corrected their records to visit the Authority's headquarters with their original documents and additional supporting materials. Upon completing the required corrections, students will be able to proceed with the National Service registration process. Affected students are advised to bring all relevant original documents, such as their Ghana Card, affidavit, and Gazette publication.

The NSA stressed that this intervention is the final opportunity for affected students to resolve their biodata mismatch issues and finish their registration before the August 26 deadline. The Authority has urged all students still facing mismatch issues to act swiftly and take advantage of the assistance being provided.
