No Palestinian state controlled by Iran’ll rise when I’m Israeli PM – Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has firmly stated that no Palestinian state under Iranian control will exist in the territories of Gaza and the West Bank while he remains in power. In a series of posts on social media platform X, Netanyahu made this clear-cut declaration while also taking shots at his political opponents as the country gears up for its upcoming election.

Netanyahu declared with utmost certainty, "As long as I am Prime Minister, no Palestinian state controlled by Iran will arise: not in Gaza, and not in Judea and Samaria. Period." He further accused opposition figures of attempting to forge a coalition with Arab political parties, stating, "The price of a left-wing coalition with the Muslim Brotherhood has been exposed once again."

Netanyahu's warning against a Palestinian state was reiterated in a separate post, where he argued that his political rivals would establish one if they were to form the next government. He also pointed out that Iran threatens Gulf oil routes due to US sanctions, and that countries joining these sanctions will be considered enemies in Iran's eyes.

Netanyahu claimed that the truth that opposition figures are trying to conceal will be revealed time and again, and that leaders like Eizenkot, Lieberman, and Golan will form a left-wing government with Abbas that will set up a dangerous Palestinian state. He urged voters to vote for Likud to prevent this from happening. The comments come as Eizenkot, a prominent opposition figure and chairman of the Yashar party, is exploring possible coalition arrangements ahead of the October 27 election.
