NDPHC Lauds NPA over Recovery of Abandoned Power Equipment at Seaports

The Niger Delta Power Holding Company Limited (NDPHC) has praised the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) for their role in recovering abandoned power equipment from various seaports across Nigeria. NDPHC's Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Jennifer Adighije, made the commendation during a courtesy visit to the NPA's headquarters in Lagos.

Adighije stated that the visit aimed to strengthen the partnership between NDPHC and NPA, and deepen collaboration in areas of mutual interest. She expressed gratitude to NPA's Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho, and his team for their support in recovering the company's abandoned cargoes at different ports.

According to Adighije, NPA's intervention prevented significant financial losses, saving NDPHC billions of naira that could otherwise have been lost. She emphasized the importance of efficient logistics and timely clearance of critical equipment for the successful implementation of power infrastructure projects. NDPHC values the support received from NPA and looks forward to further strengthening their relationship for the benefit of Nigeria's power sector and the wider economy.
